Lost Paint.

I've lost my blue paint.

Can anyone help me find it back?

... Please?

I need to paint something blue. Again.

An array of utter nonsense.

All The Right Moves

" When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour. That's relativity. " - Albert Einstein

Hello 2010.

It's been half a year now ( I don't care what you guys say, I call it progress).

It's funny how things change in the blink of an eye.

It's 3.40 a.m. and I just can't seem to sink into that soothing, welcoming darkness we call sleep.

Insomnia? Maybe. Worry? More likely. Class is at 10 a.m later.

MEH

Thoughts...so many thoughts...Analysis Paralysis is the term I've come up to describe that.

My English seems to be deteriorating. Maybe i should start blogging more often, just for good practice.

Bet no one'll see this for a good amount of time.

Shall try to sleep again.

No subliminal messages :) (cept for this one at least)

Come Full Circle.

Okay, so it's been almost exactly a year since i've last updated. Don't know why i am even bothering to do so anymore besides the fact that i have absolutely NOTHING to do at home.I swear, thanks to my help (and my mom's sudden obsession in moving stuff) the entire house has had a makeover :).

Anyway, im actually working on another post now... it'll probably take sometime to put up, if ever. In the meantime, how about i share one of my favorite songs with you?. It was introduced to me by a close friend of mine a couple of years ago and has stuck with me ever since.

Sway.

Don't stray
Don't ever go away
I should be much to smart for this
You know it gets the better
Of me sometimes
When you and I collide
I fall into an ocean of you
Pull me out in time
Don't let me drown
Let me down
I say its all because of you and here I go
Losing my control
I'm practising your name
So I can say it to your face it doesn't seem right
To look you in the eye
And let all the things you mean to me
Come tumbling out my mouth indeed its time
Tell you why
I say its infinately true
Say you'll stay
Don't come and go
Like you do
Sway my way
Yeah I need to know
All about you
And there's no cure
And no way to be sure
Why everythings turned inside out
Instilling so much doubt
It makes me so tired
I feel so uninspired
My head is battling with my heart
My logic has been torn apart
And now
It all turns sour
Come sweeten
Every afternoon
Say you'll stay
Don't come and go
Like you do
Sway my way
Yeah I need to know
All about you
Say you'll stay
Don't come and go
Like you do
Sway my way
Yeah I need to know
All about you
Its all because of you
Its all because of you

It's actually the theme song for American Pie so it should be pretty well known among you guys (although i personally haven't seen it myself).

Heads up for those of you who think i listen to nothing but techno and dance songs >.>. I have another side too okay!

I seriously wonder if or when this post will ever be discovered by someone :P

Graveyard Ver. 2.0 not a graveyard after this update!:

Hello everyone! I know, i know, long time no update. I doubt anyone's even paying a visit anymore. What the heck, i'll just update anyway...perhaps after a million years or so, it'll be discovered. Anywhoo.... here goes...
HICT Fusion Fiesta 2008

Okay, so it been ages since the event has passed (12th of July 2008), but ill just give you guys an update on what happened and stuff :).

It all started almost 2 weeks before the event was supposed to kick off. To leave a long story short, the Dance Club received a late invitation to the competition, prompting us to quickly form a group in such little time.
Things were indeed hectic. Eventually the group was sorted out. However, actually finding a place to practise proved to be a challenge. You see, HELP Uni doesn't have a studio with full length mirrors, so we resorted to checking out various studios around, dissapointed every so often with extremely high prices. In the end, we ended up practising at Studio Akarkarya, the Tropicana Studio, The HELP hostel multi-purpose hall (with an ever present audience) and finally, towards the end, at the HELP reception area and the hallway!

With such a short time, we decided to take a risk and add various genres to our performance, hoping to be unique by displaying a wide variety of styles. Mixing the music together and adding sound effects was really fun... giving Aris and me a sort of a DJ feel.

Would you believe that we never really got to deciding a name for our group till the very day of competition!?!?. We contemplated and debated on names like SHIFT 1, Energy and even slang names like ISN'T IT and AWESOME LAH. Evenually we settled on Genre. However, later on we decided to change it to ExplosionOST which stuck from then on.

Competition Day was an interesting one to say the least. We left for HICT at around 9am
, reaching there at about 935. HICT is all the way in Klang mind you! Angie, me, Jelly rode with Aris in his CLK (Cute Little Kancil). Although situated on top of a mall, the HICT campus is really nice! It gives you this American High school setting kinda vibe. The library in particular was gorgeous. Surrounded with glass, with a glass opening in the center of the ceiling for the sun to shine through. Very classy. Anyway, Sze Yin and Adrian took around 2 and a half hours to get there, getting lost along the way and visiting literallly almost every other part of Klang in the progress!. Our practise session was from 10-10.30, where only a portion of us got to test out.

Ajeet and Rajpal were nice enough to come all the way down to be our sound and lighting engineers. Because it was so last minute, it was more of an impromptu mashing of the buttons for the lighting effects. Think 02 Jam come to life. Sze Yins dad took us out for bahkuhteh for lunch... how 7 of us managed to fit into the car ill never know. Later on, we went on the search for white gloves which we thought would look good on us. Our search was in vain however, resorting us into wearing a glove a hand with the limited supply Angie had. I swear we looked a little bit like MJ then.

Just before the competition began , we finished up our final practise routines, changed and went into the waiting room. We chose a red and white outfit because we thought it would be really bright and eye-cathing :).
Daryl's group, The Sins, from Taylors College
were first up, setting the bar for the evening. They were very intimidating as they were clearly the ones to beat. I recall a girl from the 2nd group up going " Oh crap we are screwed" I turned, looked at her and smiled. The next group up was from HICT, followed by us. Although wrought with a few mistakes, we managed to pull off our performance. The feeling when being cheered on by the crowd is seriously like no other. After our performance, the Sri Sedaya team went out, followed by the next HELP team, Cookie Monsters, ending with the final performance from another HICT team.

Later on in the evening was the intercollege Battle
of the Bands. Eventhough we didnt win that one, i still thought the band performed really well. Nick's awesome with the drums and Mahadi, wicked with the guitar, not to forget Jo on the bass as well.

Guest performances by Army of Three and Free to Fall were great. I almost went deaf during Army of Three's Metal performance. There was also a pretty neat lighting performance as well. All in all it was a great with awesome experiences and new friends made.

Thanks to everyone out there who have helped us out, for being forced to watch us and give your opinions during practse ;) and also thank you to all of the group members, we did good :).

HELP UNIVERSITY COLLEGE ANNUAL A-LEVELS BALL

As you can see, ladies and gentlemen, Help University College is hosting the annual a-levels ball, one which promises to be like no other before. Organised and planned by the newly appointed Student Council, they've already managed to book one of the best hotels around. We've even gotten the grand ballroom, which is enormous by the way. At RM130, i personally think it is an reasonable enough price for something of such prestige and class. For more details and pictures of the place, do drop by at http://www.alevelsstudentcouncil.com.

Oh and pia, sorry for the really late post, it's either my internet being uber crappy or blogspot not allowing me to sign in for such a long time till now. My apologies!

Misty-Headed

TEACHERS DAY

So last friday, Me, Naim and Sway went back to our school for Teachers Day to pay a little visit to our fellow Hartmasians. There was a little talk of wearing our uniforms (just for the fun of it)... then just our blazers... alas, in the end, we just went casual. We shall have to do it someday! It would be interesting to see everyones reaction, We would be like "Hi, we are the new Form 6!"...anyway back to the main topic, Naim was so graciously helpful enough to pick Sway and Me up before we headed up to school! (Sway lives in Selayang and I live in Bangsar by the way). Thanks Naim!!! We reached school around a quarter to ten, met up with our prefect board and were told we missed the most exciting opening ceremony ever. I mean... we purposely came later to MISS that with all the long and not to mention boring speeches. We met up with the rest of the teachers after that. Pn Yong, still looking as gorgeous as ever, Pn Uma... looking happy, Mr Manmohan still playing volleyball with the students, Pn Sarinah, who seems to have an easier life after stepping down from her posts, both Pn Chua(h)s look the same to me...one of them even took a pic with us! She even has facebook. Ah well... moving on, we met up with Pau later whos sister was performing one of the dances. They can tut!!!. Later on, PQ came as well... somehow we ended up talking about the gym most of the time... apparently, he wants to get ripped! All the best to you dude. Things got a little boring after a while so Pau drove us to the nearby Devi's to have a drink. Went back to school to pick up Naim's cousin and sister. Waiting for them really hit me with the realisation of not being a High School student anymore... I somehow felt... old :(.

One Utama and... Narnia: Prince Caspian !

Naim had to drop Sway and me off some distance from OU due to the shortage of time he had to go to the mosque. So, we were dropped off at the TTDI Police Station where we began the journey to One Utama. Halfway through the walk there, I swear we almost got killed (well, not really killed, just badly injured) when a tree branch snapped off its place on the tree and fell a few feet in font of us. This was no small twig my friends... it was moderately sized, about as long as your class room desk and pretty wide too! The people in the surrounding area were staring at us in shock. Thank god it missed us.

We reached One Utama and bought the tickets, meeting several people we knew on the way. I think we saw Yi Di, Evangeline, Da Han, Sufian, Eugene Sia, Cheryl and Peik Yin (did i get that right?) We had a little bit of trouble looking for a place to eat, and once having decided where to eat, having a little bit of trouble finding the place! We ate at Only Mee, a really reasonably priced place which serves, as you guessed from the title, mee! Ah, but they dont just serve mee, no, they serve other dishes with rice as well. I ordered a particularly tricky looking Black Pepper Chicken in a Pot. Took me sometime to figure out where the rice was hidden!. Debbie met up with us later on where we had a really good talk... one I wish i could have more often with friends now. Naim joined us later on with his Hot Chocolate Pretzel which i must say, is one very messy piece of food! We then headed up for the movie.

I would say the movie was okay. Awesome sound effects and fight scenes. Looking for one of those huge LOTR war scenes? The ones with thousands of soldiers marching in orderly ranks, their boots going THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP synchronously? Watch Narnia for a more subtle but nevertheless splendid one as well. Sway and Debbie were pratically drooling over Prince Caspian, i noticed the squeals of excitement everytime he appeared :P Although, all in all, i feel that that the movie could have been better, it was as if something was lacking from it. However, it is definitely worth watching.

I had to leave after the movie concluded while Naim, Debbie and Sway went to Karaoke. For more details, refer to Sways blog :).

A Shoutout to Arie.

Congratulations to Arie on winning the Malaysian Amateur Open! You are seriously gonna go far mate! Eric must be really proud :).

Conclusion.

On another note, i would like to apologise to those who i talk to for being somewhat unresponsive. A lot of things happening here and there have just made my mind all clouded up lately. Everyone, always try to be optimistic though as hard as it may be! :)

Oh and one more thing, to those of you who would like a real challenge ( or those of you who just want to hate yourself) , i present you.... The Worlds Hardest Game :) It's a puzzle game with very challenging, almost impossible puzzles to solve. I've only managed to reach level 8 :(. The goal is to complete it in the least amount of deaths!
